The 2015–16 Cleveland Cavaliers season was the 46th season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

The Cavaliers started the season strong and rose to the top of the Eastern Conference. However, despite having the best record in their conference, head coach David Blatt was fired on January 22, 2016, and assistant coach Tyronn Lue took over for the remainder of the season. The Cavaliers finished 57–25 and obtained the number one seed in the Eastern Conference for the first time since 2010. The team advanced to the NBA Finals for the second year in a row, facing the Western Conference champions Golden State Warriors in a rematch from last year's NBA finals, which the Warriors won. The Cavaliers would go on and defeat the Warriors in seven games and won their first championship after overcoming a 3–1 series deficit, the first in Finals history, as well as becoming the fourth team in the Finals to come back from a 2-0 deficit. The Cavaliers' victory also marked the first championship win by a major professional sports team from Cleveland since 1964, ending a 52-year championship drought.

2014 Kentucky Wildcats NCAA Final Four Championship Ring

http://topchampionshiprings.com/2014-kentucky-wildcats-ncaa-final-four-championship-ring-p-1071.html

http://topchampionshiprings.com/2014-kentucky-wildcats-ncaa-final-four-championship-ring-p-1071.html

The 2014–15 Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball team represented the University of Kentucky in the 2013–14 college basketball season. The team played its home games in Lexington, Kentucky for the 39th consecutive season at Rupp Arena, with a capacity of 23,500. The team was led by sixth-year head coach John Calipari. The team was a National Semifinalist in the NCAA Tournament, competing in the school's 17th Final Four. It was Calipari's fourth Final Four appearance at Kentucky. The team finished the regular season with a perfect 31–0 record, the best start in school history.[1] Their 38 wins is tied with the 2012 Kentucky team for the most in men's Division I history.[2] Their 38–1 record (.974 winning percentage) is the best by a team that did not finish undefeated.

After finishing as the National Runner-up in the 2014 NCAA Tournament, the expectations for this team were high. The team, however, would be without some of its top players from the 2013–14 team including starting power forward Julius Randle[3][4] and starting small forward James Young,[5][6] who were first-round draft choices in the 2014 NBA Draft. Returning were starting point guard Andrew Harrison,[7] starting shooting guard Aaron Harrison,[7] and starting center Dakari Johnson.[8] Former McDonald's All-Americans Marcus Lee[9] and Alex Poythress[10] also returned to school. Willie Cauley-Stein opted to return to school after his leg injury in the 2014 NCAA Tournament.[11] John Calipari once again produced another top recruiting class that was highlighted by Karl-Anthony Towns.

The Wildcats were led by 2015 Consensus All-Americans Cauley-Stein and Towns.

The 2015 Denver Broncos season was the franchise's 46th season in the National Football League and the 56th overall. It was also the fourth season with Peyton Manning as the team's starting quarterback, as well as the final season of Manning's 18-year NFL career.

After losing in the Divisional round of the playoffs during three of the previous four seasons, the Broncos underwent numerous coaching changes, including a mutual parting with head coach John Fox, and the hiring of Gary Kubiak as the new head coach. Under Kubiak and offensive coordinator Rick Dennison, the Broncos planned to install a run-oriented West coast offense with zone blocking to blend in with Manning's shotgun passing style,[1] but struggled with numerous changes and injuries to the offensive line.

Manning missed six games due to a partial tear of the plantar fascia in his left foot and had his worst statistical season since his rookie year with the Indianapolis Colts in 1998.[2] Backup quarterback Brock Osweiler filled in for Manning during the second half of the regular season, before Manning re-claimed the starting quarterback position prior to the team's postseason run. Under defensive coordinator Wade Phillips, the Broncos' defense ranked No. 1 in total yards, passing yards, average yards per rush and sacks (see Statistics section), and like the previous three seasons, the team continued to set numerous individual, league and franchise records. The team's defense is widely considered to be among the greatest of all time.[3]

The Broncos clinched their fifth-consecutive AFC West division title, fourth consecutive first-round bye and the AFC's No. 1 playoff seed for the third time in four seasons. The Broncos' defense dominated their playoff opponents, recording 14 sacks as well as surrendering only one touchdown pass and a combined 44 points. The Broncos defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 23–16 in the Divisional round and the defending Super Bowl champions New England Patriots 20–18 in the AFC Championship Game. The Broncos then defeated the Carolina Panthers 24–10 in Super Bowl 50 — the franchise's third Super Bowl championship, and the first since winning back-to-back Super Bowls in 1997 and 1998.

Super Bowl XXXIX was an American football game between the American Football Conference champion New England Patriots and the National Football Conference champion Philadelphia Eagles to decide the National Football League champion for the 2004 season. The Patriots defeated the Eagles by the score of 24–21. The game was played on February 6, 2005, at Alltel Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida, the first time the Super Bowl was played in that city.

The Patriots, who entered the Super Bowl after compiling a 14–2 regular season record, became the first team since the 1997–98 Denver Broncos to win consecutive Super Bowls.[2] New England also became the second team after the Dallas Cowboys[3] to win three Super Bowls in four years. The Eagles were making their second Super Bowl appearance after posting a 13-3 regular season record.

The 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship was a bowl game that determined the national champion of NCAA Division I FBS college football for the 2015 season. It was played at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on January 11, 2016, and was the culminating game of the 2015–16 bowl season.

The game was played between the winners of two pre-designated semifinal bowls played on December 31, 2015: the No. 1 Clemson Tigers, who beat the No. 4 Oklahoma Sooners 37-17 at the Orange Bowl, coached by Dabo Swinney in his 8th season with Clemson, and the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide, who shut out the No. 3 Michigan State Spartans 38-0 at the Cotton Bowl Classic, coached by Nick Saban.

The 13-1 Alabama Crimson Tide won the game, beating the undefeated Clemson Tigers 45–40. Heisman Finalist quarterback Deshaun Watson had a historic performance, setting the record for most total yards in national championship game history, with 478 yards (405 passing / 73 rushing) against the nation's third-ranked defense in Alabama. Following the game, the AP Poll also named Alabama as its top team of the season, giving Alabama their fourth title in seven seasons.
